Atticus Franchise Group is seeking a hardworking, resourceful HR Coordinator to join the Human Resources team. This key role will support the demands of our rapid growth by providing administrative support to the human resource function as needed, including team member data management, leave of absence administration, as well as provide best in class written and verbal communication with team members, management, and external parties.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Serves as first point of contact for our team members, answering frequently asked questions relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate HR team members
  • Assists with HRIS management by ensuring completion and accuracy of details such as employee contact information, job classification, pay rates, organizational structure, and other key details
  • Verifies and maintains I-9 documentation and serves as administrator for E-Verify cases
  • Assists with processing of terminations including issuing separation notices to team members
  • Acts as a liaison between the organization and external benefits providers and third-party vendors, which may include health, disability, and retirement plan providers
  • Assists with the administration of employee benefits, which may include collecting and submitting employee information and notice of change in status to health, dental, life, disability, and other insurance carriers or insurance brokers
  • Oversees and executes the leave administration process for all team members
  • Provides clerical support to the HR department as needed
  • Support other functions and perform any additional duties as assigned

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Working knowledge and understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; talented in Excel
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
  • Analytical, problem-solver, and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
